Paul MacKendrick, American classicist, author, and teacher taught in colleges and universities from the year 1939 to his retirement in 1984. His dozen or so works deal widely with the archaeology of the ancient civilizations of Europe and his cumulative years of teaching and writing have left behind a delightfully comprehensive look into the early cultures that shaped Europe.
