Good mystery and method of executing the crime.

Plot

Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose are best friends who live in the town of Green Lawn, Connecticut. One day, they go to a carnival where Penelope Gwinn is singing. Suddenly, they hear her scream as someone comes up to her and rips her diamond necklace off of her neck. The three realize that the culprit couldn't have run far, since the park is very crowded, so they go and investigate.

The bad guy tries to steal Penelope's necklace. Otherwise, characters are quite moral.

Violence

The part where the man steals Penelope's necklace could be seen as assault.

Conclusion

This mystery and the bad guy's method was again new and creative; this book is refreshingly fun.
