Very interesting, but you have to love Star Wars to enjoy it; there is also a lack of morality.
Plot
Jacen Solo has submerged himself farther into the dark side, believing it to be his destiny and finally revealing himself to be Darth Caedus. Meanwhile, his twin sister Jaina is training with Boba Fett in order to bring her brother down.
Morality
Caedus deludes himself into thinking his evil actions are good, though they are obviously not. At times it's laughable at how much he says to himself to make him think it's okay, but the reader knows it isn't.
Spiritual Content
The Force is a powerful presence in the Star Wars galaxy, and the Jedi are followers of it. The Force gives the Jedi special powers, and has both a 'good' and a 'dark' side. Each side is portrayed as equally strong - rather a Yin and Yang worldview.
Violence
There is a lot of violence: duels, starfighting, practice duels. Lots of blood and wounds mentioned.
Drug and Alcohol Content
There are medical stimulants mentioned and some brief drinking in bars.
Sexual Content
Alanna, Jacen's illegitimate child, is mentioned.
Crude or Profane Language or Content
There is a lot of language, but it's all words made up for the Star Wars universe.
Conclusion
This was a very good book in the way of adventure, despite the above mentioned things to look out for. Keep an eye out for moral problems. I would also only recommend it for ages 13 and up because of the heavy violence.
