The method of the bad guy in this book is new, and the plot is exciting.

Plot

Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose are best friends who live in the town of Green Lawn, Connecticut. When their neighbors' pets start going missing, the three have an idea about who the culprit might be. They go on a stakeout to catch the person in the act.

Morality

The culprit steals people's pets in order to accomplish the main goal of stealing their other belongings. All bad behavior is shown as just that - bad.

Conclusion

This series is a very good series for younger kids: Ron Roy has done a phenomenal job writing the A-Z's.
