Kingdom's Hope

by Chuck Black
Series: The Kingdom Series #2
160 pages, Fantasy

Great example of good 21st century Christian writing.

Plot

This book picks up where Dawn left off. Leinad comes back to rescue the enslaved, somewhat like the rescue of the Israelite people in Exodus. He must fight as the Knight of the King and defeat the evil Farrios in order to free the slaves and lead them to liberty.

Morality

Great moral center in the book. Leinad encourages the people to follow the King and the code. It also shows how bad choices can give way to bad consequences.

Spiritual Content

Great spiritual messages in this book. The main emphasis is on trusting the King (who represents God) and obeying Him only.

Violence

Some sword violence and dragon violence but it isn't graphic.

Drug and Alcohol Content

None.

Sexual Content

None.

Crude or Profane Language or Content

None.

Conclusion

This is, once again, a very good book for any age and a good book to do Sunday school lessons with since there are discussion questions and answers in the back of the book.
