Very good story, and a wonderful lesson in Godly love.

Plot

Things seem finally settled between Christy and Rick with an understanding that they are just buddies. But when Katie tells Rick that Christy is going to ask him to the prom, things get rocky again. On top of that, one of the cheerleaders is making Christy's life miserable, because Christy is trying out for the next year's team. And when Christy finds out Todd is taking another girl to his prom, she feels it's the last straw.

Will Christy learn to do what she knows God wants her to do, even when she doesn't get what she wants? What about when she does get it?

Morality

Very good. One of the cheerleaders is mean to Christy, but her actions are shown as wrong. Christy gets a little jealous of a girl paying too much attention to Todd, and says some unkind things about her, but she gets corrected for her words.

Spiritual Content

Lots of talk about God, and Scripture. Some quoting of Bible verses. Characters pray.

Violence

None.

Drug and Alcohol Content

None.

Sexual Content

Katie mentions how some students the year before had rented hotel rooms for after the prom.

Crude or Profane Language or Content

None.

Conclusion

Another excellent installment in this series, dealing with the realities of not just proms and schoolmate rivalry, but also obedience to both God and parents. Also, an important lesson in Godly love as stated in the "Love Chapter" in Corinthians.
